Vintage 2026
A huge thanks goes out to our Vintage workers for 2026.
Especially our regulars and permanent staff Tilly, Neil, Acka (Wayne), Claire & Ollie. Tilly has done a mighty job taking on running the crew this year whilst Acka stepped back to part time whilst on Long Service Leave. Not only is Tilly learning the Vineyard side of things while studying Viticulture full time of an evening, she has taken over the sheep side of things as well! Great job.
A shout out our overseas workers Valentin, Bastian, Hannah, Neena, Nick, Viola, Bautista, Michaela, Lois & Alexane. Most of whom came to Rutherglen to learn the art of fortified wine making.
Unfortunately Mother Nature had a few different ideas for us this season in regards to the grape production with frost, smoke taint, rain, heat and vineyard disease . But hopefully the guys have learnt a quite a bit about small business and farming over their time at Chambers.
The crew have attended Vigneron Dinners, processed grapes, hand picked the fruit, pump overs, ferments, Lab work, lots of cleaning and sheep work.
Thanks again to all involved for helping Stephen Chambers in what has been quite a difficult Vintage.
