Charlie the Cockatoo is our resident chatterbox. He came to the Rutherglen Wine Region in 1941 after being banished from the Sydney Zoo for indecent language … :) Charlie has moved residence in Rutherglen quite a few times over his 80 plus years as a local. We are very grateful to have him at Rosewood; his cheerful greetings and cheeky chatter keep both staff and visitors thoroughly amused.
