Stephen and Michael (Lake Moodemere Estate) are busy ‘Racking & Returning’, as well as blending the 2025 Red barrels. - One just for the dramatics!
Stephen is tending to the fortified wine barrels by adding sulphur. Another major job that is ongoing, is replacing the enamel coated coach bolts, with stainless bolts, in the old casks. These bolts rust and lose the enamel which is not a good mix for the wine.
